Used for noise exposure measurement for workplace noise control, dBadge2 personal noise dosimeters are bodily worn, ideal for measuring mobile workers with complex shift patterns. It comes with Bluetooth connectivity for remote access and motion sensing for measurement validation ensure that you’re equipped for tomorrow’s challenges in workplace noise control.

3. Air Sampling Pumps
Air sampling is used to measure an individual’s exposure to a harmful substance in the air such as dusts and vapours, which is then compared to an exposure limit. Personal air sampling pumps are used with sampling accessories and media (filters and tubes) to collect the substance, which can then be sent to a laboratory for analysis. This will then give an 8-hour exposure value. Casella personal air sampling pumps are slim, lightweight and have an ergonomic design. It is unobtrusive to the wearer being monitored. Real time dust monitors are also available to give instantaneous dust levels, which will show when exposure occurred and a dust level in real time.

Area and boundary monitors are used at the fence line, such as construction, to monitor emissions from the site. Sites may have limits for noise (often hourly LAeq), dust (PM10 or PM2.5) or vibration (PPV) and boundary monitors can help prevent complaints and manage good relationships with site neighbours.
